Santa Barbara International Film Festival To Screen Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story
While it’s been a while since Blank – A Vinylmation Love Story was released, it’s still making noise within the film industry. Disney Interactive have announced that Blank will be screened at the Santa Barbara Film Festival.
It was announced today that Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story will be screened at the 30th anniversary edition of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF), which will take place January 27 – February 7, 2015. The film will be featured in the “Animated Shorts” section at SBIFF. This honor adds to the short’s list of accolades, which also includes:
Best Shorts Competition – “Best of Show”
18th Annual LA Shorts Fest – Best Animated Short
2014 New Media Film Festival – Best Animated Short
Rhode Island International Film Festival 2014 – Best Animation (First Prize)

Based on the popular Disney Parks Vinylmation collectible franchise, Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story is a 38 minute stop-motion animated film that tells the story of Blank, an unpainted Vinylmation, on an epic adventure through an original new world to find his lost soul mate.
