Disney Infinity 3.0 Live Twitch Toy Box TV Recap

Today Disney hosted their first live Twitch episode of Toy Box Tv which was presented by your usual hosts, John Vignocchi and Allison Petrek were joined by different members of the Disney Infinity team and answered some questions from the community.

Toy Box TV live is set to be a regular weekly event with future episodes featuring exclusive reveals such as power discs and answering questions from the community.

Included in this weeks show, they showed off some packaging for the new characters, Mickey & Minnie Mouse in purple packaging and Han Solo in red packaging. They did joke about not showing the back of the Han Solo figure so not to expose other Star Wars characters that haven’t been announced yet.

They also confirmed that there will only be one Starter Pack this time as it caused confusion last year with the two different versions. However a Digital version will be available at launch.

Other highlights included:

-No four legged or swimming in 3.0
-1.0 characters have not gotten full upgrades
– Play Sets still not forward compatible.
– Look at Power Discs coming in future episode.
– Still only 4 player online and 2 player offline in Play Sets
– They wouldn’t confirm a Collectors Edition but said they have something later to announce.
– There will be an ultimate unlock for 3.0
– Mickey can summon his friends to help him, like Goofy, Pluto, and Oswald as an attack.
– Minnie uses a purse to attack
