60th Celebration and 24 hour Event 22nd May 2015 – Report

I was off work for the long weekend, so headed over to DST\DCA\DLR about 2 hours after offically starting the 24 hour event. Got parked in DTD parking as I needed to be at Sullen HQ in Los Alimitos by 1030 but that is another story :-). Cruzed DTD there was a short line to Dst where everyone was looking for the 60th Diamond Celebration Crystal Vinylmation (Le2000) at a cost of $29.95 the steepest 3″ so far but worth it with 20% discount. We were not lucky to get a Blue Variant, but we were happy non the less with the Silver one. In my opinion, I think the Variant should have been the Silver one, but that’s just me.

After a quick stop at DTD to get my wrist bands, it was off to DCA to shop, and then over to DLR and Star Command. With some new purchases in hand it was back to Dstreet, to pick up some vinylmations.

Later that afternoon, the rest of the family wanted to head to the park and again we parked without any issues. However, we got as far as Marceline’s and found out that bag check was closed nobody was getting in. By the time we left you will see Breezy and I found the end of the line at Tortilla Joes. They actually split the line at wetzel’s pretzels one line we down back of Wetzels, down to Disneyway (see the picture), the other line went from bagage down to eventually Rain Forest Cafe. As I hear it after we left the line started moving within about 30-45 min.
