Details On Halmark Star Wars SDCC Exclusives
Halmark have revealed some of their San Diego Comic Con exclusive items including some new Star Wars merchandise.
Boba Fett and Han Solo in Carbonite become the latest in Hallmark’s itty bittys line with this event-exclusive two-pack of the armored bounty hunter and his prisoner as seen in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Sales limited to 300 pieces per day as part of a total production run of 2,750 ($20 per set).
This Keepsake Ornament two-pack created especially for Comic-Con event sales features droids that first appeared in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. The humanoid protocol droid U-3PO served aboard Princess Leia’s consular ship while the astromech droid R5-D4 was offered for sale by Jawa traders to moisture farmer Owen Lars on Tatooine.
Available exclusively at Comic-Con International, July 9-12 in San Diego, Calif., and at New York Comic Con, Oct. 8-11, in New York City.
Halmark will also be offering some Activities at the Hallmark Booth:
“We’re thrilled to return to Comic-Con to interact with our passionate fans,” says Beth Dorr, Hallmark Licensing. “We invite convention goers to stop by the Hallmark booth for sneak peeks of our upcoming products and all the usual fun that fans have come to expect from us.”
Visitors to Hallmark’s booth in the Lucasfilm Pavilion will walk into a stylized version of Hoth to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Fans can collect a series of five buttons featuring Keepsake Ornaments that will be handed out for free while quantities last. The button series features Star Wars designs with a limited quantity of one design given away each day of Comic-Con.
An official schedule of all Hallmark fan activities at Comic-Con International will be available at the Hallmark booth in the Star Wars Pavilion, located at Booth 2913-X in the Exhibit Hall.
