Toy Box TV on Twitch: LIVE from San Diego Comic Con – Recap

Hey guys! Well, what a great show. It was cool to watch another awesome episode of Toy Box TV live, but this time from San Diego Comic Con. There was some great new gameplay, new figure reveals, and some awesome guests. Read the recap below and enjoy some awesome pictures from the Live event…

• Allison shared info regarding their daily scavenger hunts.
• If you preorder at Comic Con they give you a Darth Vader figure.
• They showed off a little bit of Hulk Buster and Ultron. They Are both playable at SDCC so if you are there go play them!

• They brought up John Diesta and Casey Nelson from Avalanche Software.
• Hulk Buster is comprised of the most parts.
• Hulk Buster was sculpted by Ian Jacobs.
• Boba Fett’s original design was too real, so they went to Lucas who suggested the original toy version of Boba Fett.
• JV thinks Destiny kinda looks like some of its characters were inspired by Boba Fett.
• Casey is part of the 8 person team who writes the dialogue and story of the characters in the playset. She does some voice acting in the game.
• They played a draw a character game which led to JV asking John Diesta to tease a character coming to infinity. Based on the drawing, who do you think it is?
• Brit-Brit gave everyone a tour of the Pop-up shop.

• They brought up Ronnie Delcarmen, the co-director of the movie Inside Out to talk about the movie.
• Pete Doctor, who also co-directed Inside Out, was inspired to write the movie by his daughter doing the test voice over for young Ellie in the movie UP. Just watching her grow and her process and the way she communicated while growing kinda left him thinking and led to this idea.
• Bing Bong was inspired by the stories they remember telling each other growing up. How you would talk to yourself as if someone was there. So they created the ultimate fusion on creatures and Bing Bong was born.
• Pete Doctor actually wrote Bing Bong’s song.

• Then they brought up Adam Boyes and John Drake from Sony to talk about the Star Wars Saga pack.
• JV told the story of approaching Sony and wanting to do something special for playstation players and they said “Boba Fett!” That led to the pack you see now.
• They gave JV a nice Darkling Duck gift because they know how much he wants him in the game.

• They then brought up Brandon Jones and Andrea Rene from Gametrailers to talk about what they love about Disney Infinity 3.0.
• Christy Carlson Romano is apparently meeting with JV sometime next week to discuss possible Kim Possible inclusion in the game.
• JV hinted the at D23 they may reveal the ultimate unlock for 3.0.
• They then brought up Larry Hryb, aka: Major Nelson from Microsoft and he spoke about the importance of community. He also brought up that he was part of the team that created achievements for games.
• Then Larry and Adam duked it out on a race in the Nightmare Before Christmas track.

And finally I leave you with the teased new character…..Do you see it? Look closely………..who can it be? Something tells me it looks like a bug!
