Pins…. To Infinity And Beyond!!

Hi guys!!  My name is Chase, and I’m a huge pin collector. I will be discussing my thoughts on each weeks pin releases on either coasts, and occasionally in Paris too.

My first review is going to be on the Green Army-men WDW countdown pin for the Pixar Party event. This pin is a hinged stained glass pin, and is limited to only 750 pieces. Though I enjoy that Disney is venturing away from the fab 5 at events as there is only so much Mickey and Friends we can get, however I find the pins to be somewhat lacking with the inside having no color. I also don’t like the inside, as it appears to not be outlined enough.

The Pixar Luxo ball on the stained glass locket part is a perfect touch for me as that is practically the symbol of pixar, and I think that if the inside was to have color that it would defiantly win me over.

The final think I’m going to focus on with this pin, is the fact that they made it limited to 750 pieces, where as the last set was 500.

I both enjoy the higher edition size, making it more fair for everyone to get one, but don’t because the thrill of being at Disney Springs at 6:30 am has gone away, knowing I can sleep in and still have a shot at the pin.
