Closer Look At The Disney Infinity Area On Disney Cruise Lines
Recently Disney launched a new Disney Infinity area in the Oceaneer Club on their Disney Cruise Ships. The signature experience in this play area is a life-sized Disney Infinity base that transports players into the Toy Box. Standing on the base, you become a virtual Disney character controlling actions on the giant video screen.
Gaming stations around the room offer children more opportunities for individual and group adventures in the Toy Box. One of the coolest parts about playing Disney Infinity on the Disney Dream is the virtual toys and environments exclusive to Disney Cruise Line.
Here is a video from Disney showing off the room to all its glory:
After the cruise, guests can use the child’s Oceaneer band to download extra free content at home such as townspeople, vehicles and exclusive toy boxes on their consoles through Disney Infinity 3.0.
What do you think of this area?

Looks fun, but it’s kind of a bummer that those of us that haven’t been on the cruise can’t unlock the virtual toys. I have unlocked everything else in 3.0 and I can’t find anyone with an Oceaneer band. 🙁
