Ghost in the Shell’ Moves to Paramount From Disney

The upcoming live action movie version of the classic Japanese Manga classic “Ghost in the Shell”, has shifted from Disney to Paramount.  The movie is being made by Dreamworks and Paramount is also co-financing the movie, which will be released on March 31st, 2017.

The movie stars Scarlett Johansson and Pilou Asbæk in the adaptation of the popular Japanese franchise along with Johansson. Johansson will play a member of the Japanese National Public Safety Commission’s covert ops unit attempting to bring down a nefarious computer hacker.
