Agent Carter Season 2 Episode 6 Recap

Jason Wilkes, having faded away, finds himself in some kind of other realm, but still connected to earth. Peggy brings him back, but he feels he is starting to lose control. Peggy thinks building a containment chamber would work if he can become tangible again.

Frost is slowly losing control, talking to herself, but is disrupted by Chadwick. They argue but Chadwick has managed to arrange a meeting with the Council of Nine, even though they don’t normally agree to this, especially with a female.

Jarvis treats the wound that was inflicted on Peggy in the previous episode and Ana questions whether Peggy should be working.

Peggy returns to the lab and find Souza waiting, who is not looking good. She explains the plan to build a containment unit, but they need to get a sample of the zero matter from Whitney Frost. They want to carry out the operation at a fund raiser Chadwick has arranged. Souza questions who is going to attempt this when Peggy can hardly stand up.. They need someone who is trained but not recognisable. Peggy has an idea.

She disguises herself as a psychiatrist and pays Dottie Underwood a visit. Dottie recognises straight away that they need her help.

Wilkes is explaining what they are doing to Ana. He tells her all the problems that could come while Jarvis takes part in the mission and she worries for his safety. Jarvis is very excited about the prospect of taking part, but Ana runs off.

Peggy questions Dottie about the pin again, Dottie insinuates that she was hired to steal the pin to find out more about the Council of Nine. Peggy makes her an offer to get Dottie deported but she doesn’t believe her, but accepts anyway. Peggy gives her a device to escape. Peggy says she will take care of the guards and leaves. Dottie uses the device to unlock the door and finds Peggy has knocked out the guard using her knock out lipstick.

Dottie steals the guard’s gun and leaves, but after being told to leave the door and turn one way, she goes the other way. Sadly for her Peggy and Souza are waiting and trap her in an electrified net.

Once Peggy has regained consciousness, Peggy gets her ready for the party and bound her to a chair. Peggy put a necklace on her and tells her it contains a tracker and a neurotoxin. Jarvis is ready, but Peggy annoys him by telling him he won’t be carrying a firearm.

Frost doesn’t want her meeting with the Council, as she doesn’t want to be seen in public because of the zero matter crack. Chadwick gives her a veil to cover it.

Peggy tells Dottie the plan of getting a blood sample and not to touch Whitney Frost. Peggy and Souza will monitor the party from outside in a van, through a device in Jarvis’ glasses and one in Dottie’s hat.

Jarvis and Dottie dance, but spot Thompson at the party. He is discussing the communist threat with Masters, Chadwick and Frost. Masters is praising Thompson for stopping Leviathan.

Jarvis wants to abort the mission, Peggy refuses as it is the only way to save Wilkes. Jarvis finds Dottie has gone. Masters points out members of the council and Hugh Jones joins them, just as Dottie is about to disturb them. Jarvis manages to stop her.

Jones and Masters inform Thompson of the visit Peggy paid to the Roxxon office. Jarvis is told to keep Thompson occupied as Dottie gets the sample.

A woman tries to speak to Thompson but Jarvis intervenes, Thompson wants to know where Peggy is and Jarvis explains she isby Stark’s pool reading a book. Thompson doesn’t believe him and want everywhere searched, but Jarvis gets his attention back by claim Thompson is working for Chadwick and warns him he doesn’t know what he is letting himself in for. Thompson doesn’t buy it and walks away.

Dottie gets the sample but leaves her hat next to running water and looks to escape, but ends up in the council chamber. Frost is explaining zero matter to the council and shows them the crack on her face. She pulls out a rat and shows them the power she has. Chadwick makes an order and Frost is captured by two men. She takes them down with the zero matter as well as half the council and her husband.

Frost takes control of the council, demands that a story is put in the paper to explain what happened to Chadwick and is only keeping the rest of the council alive as she thinks they can help her.

Jarvis confirms what has happened and continues his search for Dottie. Peggy tries to go and help but pops a stitch. Dottie escapes once the council has left, she realises the sample has great power, but is caught by Masters and sends two guards after her.

Peggy realises she needs to see Violet again, but Souza explains what has happened and that Violet left him because he still loved Peggy. As they go to kiss a body lands on the roof of the van.

Dottie is taking on the guards and takes them out, only to be surprised by Thompson by Thompson. She drops the sample from Frost. Jarvis gets outside after recovering the sample. They decide to regroup.

Jones informs Masters about the power swap. Masters is blaming Thompson for everything. He knows it was Peggy who broke Dottie out. He want to Thompson to dirty Peggy’s name but Thompson doesn’t want to. Masters realises Peggy has something on Thompson. Masters tells him to find something on her.

Sosa and Peggy return the sample to Wilkes so that he can get on with building the containment chamber but Peggy and Sousa are more worried about Dottie.

Thompson arrives and wants to see Peggy. He wants to know about Dottie escaping and orders Peggy back to New York. She threatens to resign so that she can stay. He tries to knock Peggy’s confidence and leaves her.

Frost has Dottie chained up in a crate and shuts the lid.
