Uncle Scrooge #12 Comic Book Review

Issue #12 of Uncle Scrooge features two stories that haven’t been printed in the USA before, “Ten Little Millionaires” from Italian Topolino 2984, 2013 and “Gem Scam Jam” from Italian Almanacco Topolino 92, 1964.

The main story from this issue is called “Ten Little Millionaires” from Italian Topolino 2984, 2013 and sees Uncle Scrooge take a load of rich tourists to his hotel on the moon and as you might suspect, all doesn’t go according to plan. This is a great story and was lots of fun with space travel.

The second story is called “Gem Scam Jam” from Italian Almanacco Topolino 92, 1964. This is a interesting story of Jubal Romp trying to outsmart Uncle Scrooge, which almost worked. It’s always good to see a story that only really works with the Uncle Scrooge character.

This was a good Uncle Scrooge comic book, featuring two stories that are different but fit together well, while I enjoy learning about lesser known characters, I prefer that these books to mainly feature the character on the title (I like that the other IDW comic book, Walt Disney Stories & Comics is more varied).  Uncle Scrooge #12 is a enjoyable read and worth checking out for Uncle Scrooge fans.
