Death Of X Teased By Marvel

Marvel have shared this teaser of an upcoming comic book coming this fall, Death of X.  There wasn’t any other information give to us, but what does the X mean,  could this new story feature the death of all or some of the X-Men?  Or perhaps the X is just a placeholder of the name of the superhero that is being killed off?
