Charlie Cox Announces When The Defenders Will Start Filming

Netflix is hosting a two day event in Paris to promote many of their new shows including Marvel’s shows.  During the event, Charlie Cox (who plays Daredevil in the hit series), was at the event and said a few things about the future of his character, especially with regards to the upcoming Defenders series, where Daredevil joins forces with Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

Charlie Cox was asked about a third series for Daredevil and he replied “We don’t know if there’s going to be a season three, I certainly don’t know.”  He added that Daredevil will be returning to our screens soon, adding “What we do know is at the end of this year we’re going to be making The Defenders and, of course, Daredevil is very much a part of that foursome. I have no idea what the storyline is going to be for that show. I’m very excited to see how those world’s combine… and interested to see tonally how those shows become one.”

Cox also added “In terms of wrapping up any storylines, maybe they’ll do some of that in The Defenders. Or maybe they won’t.”
