Four Avatar Sequels Announced

During the Las Vegas CinemaCon event, James Cameron has announced that there will be four Avatar sequels coming, the first movie is set to be released in 2018, which had been pushed back to avoid opening against Star Wars: Episode VIII. The other sequels will be coming 2020, 2022 and 2023, with all the films being filmed concurrently and each will be a stand-alone movie, but together will make a complete saga.

With the new Pandora land in Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom set to open in 2017, which means this area will be fully operation when these movies come out, which means Disney will be fully ready to take advantage of these new sequels.
