Inhumans Officially Removed From Release Schedule
There have been recent rumours that Marvel’s Inhumans movie has been pulled from its original release date of July 12th, 2019 and Disney have now confirmed that the movies release date is unset.
Following the new Indiana Jones movie being given the same release date, and with the additions of Spider-Man: Homecoming on July 7th, 2017 and Ant-Man & The Wasp on July 6th, 2018, this has pushed back the Inhumans, who have been very active in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, with characters like Daisy becoming superpowered after exposure to a mist from the Kree alien race.
Marvel’s Kevin Feige has recently said:
Since we made our initial phase three announcement, we added Spider-Man, which was a big joyous coup for us. We added Ant-Man and the Wasp, which was a big fun continuation of that story for us. Walt Disney Company has announced an Indiana Jones film for right around that same time. So I think it will shuffle off the current date that it’s on right now. How far down it shuffles, I’m not sure yet.
With the characters from the Inhumans becoming a large part of the TV show, this could be why Disney are holding off as originally this movie was going to be the finale to phase 3 after the Infinity wars. And Disney still have reserved three 2020 dates for unnamed films , May 1st, July 10th and November 6th, which could be used for an Inhumans movie.
