Marvel Committed To Solo Black Widow Movie

Following appearances in many Marvel movies like Civil War, Iron Man 2, The Winter Solider and both of the Avengers movies, it looks like the Black Widow will soon be getting her own solo movie.  Recently Kevin Feige, who is the president of Marvel Studios, has said “I would say certainly the one creatively and emotionally that we are most committing to doing is Black Widow.”

He also added that “We think she’s an amazing character. We think Scarlett Johansson’s portrayal of her is amazing. She’s a lead Avenger and has amazing stories in her own right to tell that we think would be fun to turn into a stand-alone franchise.”

Scarlett Johansson has been vocal in the past about wanting her own movie, and with Marvel wanting to push strong female characters, a solo movie would be a great addition to the Marvel movie line up.
