Muppet Restaurant Confirmed for Hollywood Studios

Rumor had it for a while that Pizza Planet would become a Muppet themed restaurant after it went down for refurbishment. I was told it would either be a Swedish Chef or Rizzo theme.

It was confirmed by WDWNT that “Pizza Rizzo” will be opening fall 2016 in the Muppet Courtyard at Hollywood Studios in place of Pizza Planet.

The restaurant will continue to be a quick service pizza place with a new theme and better quality food to be served to guests. The new name was discovered through permits filed for the project.
