Disney Reviewing Signage & Warnings At Walt Disney World
Disney have announced that following this weeks terrible Alligator incident at the Grand Floridian resort in Walt Disney World, that they will be reviewing the placement and wording of the warning signs.
Walt Disney World Resort Vice President Jacquee Wahler said in a statement Thursday: “We are conducting a swift and thorough review of all of our processes and protocols, This includes the number, placement and wording of our signage and warnings.”
It is expected these changes will take place as soon as possible, as most signs simply warn of “No Swimming” rather than Alligators could be present.
Jacquee added “We have a large property, and from time to time, we have to remove alligators from our property, Nearly one-third of Walt Disney World property is set aside as a conservation area and these areas attract a variety of native wildlife.”
Disney made an official statement about the incident yesterday.
