Deadpool 2 Set To Go Into Production In Early 2017

Following the huge success of Deadpool earlier this year, many have been wondering about a sequel following the post credit scene with Deadpool discussing Cable, the time travelling son of Cyclops. This past week, the film’s producer, Simon Kinberg, spoke with Collider at the Saturn Awards in California, hinted things could be kicking off early in 2017.

“The guys, [screenwriters Paul] Wernick and Rhett [Reese], are working on the script, and we hope to have the script very soon. We hope to shoot the movie some time at the beginning of next year.”

So hopefully it won’t be too long before the Merc with the Mouth returns to our screens.
