Disney’s All-Star Resort Grand Slam Pool Closing For Refurbishment

Disney have announced that the Grand Slam Pool at Disney’s All-Star Resort in Walt Disney World will be closed for refurbishment from Mid-October.  The Surfboard Bay Pool will remain open for guests and the closure is set to be for around 2 months.

Shaped like a baseball diamond, this pool features Goofy on a pitcher’s mound lobbing a stream of water at swimmers. Continuing the sporty theme, the sundeck is designed like an outfield and huge 3-story baseball bats line the pool area.
