ABC In Conversations With Lucasfilm For A Star Wars TV Series

With Disney expanding Star Wars across the cinemas, video games, animated shows, theme parks and comic books, it does look like ABC wants to bring a Galaxy Far Far Away to our screens.

ABC entertainment president Channing Dungey spoke at a panel during the TCA and said “As a fan, I would absolutely love to say yes.  We have had conversations, and we will continue to have conversations with Lucasfilm. It would be wonderful to extend the franchise.”

Not too much is known about when or what a Star Wars TV show would be, but with the success of the new movies like the Force Awakens and the third series of Rebels set to hit screens soon.
