Ursula Invades Disney Emoji Blitz!
Today, the app Disney Emoji Blitz got an update… of the villainous kind. For the first time since launch, Disney Emoji Blitz is having an event where you fight a villain on the game board. And what better way to kick things off with the sea-witch herself, Ursula.
For the next nine days, you can opt to forgo your regular game board play and fight Ursula. In this versus board, your goals is to collect tridents by dropping them to the bottom of the board, in a similar fashion to normal item collection (in fact, there will be no other items on the board). To counteract you, Ursula will unleash on the board at a given time poor-unfortunate souls, and the only way to remove them is with clouds, suns, or stars.
For every trident you collect, you will take health away from Ursula. Once her health is taken down to zero, you win a prize and you move on to the next level. I am assuming the prizes will only grow in value (so far I have opened two: one coins and the other power boosts), and I am hoping the final unlock is the Ursula emoji herself.
Now, this could be a daunting task for some, so the Disney Emoji Blitz team tried to make it easier by giving special features to the Ariel, Sebastian, and Flounder emojis. If you play with one of them, you get double the tridents you collect. So, collect two in a round, and you hit Ursula with four. Better yet, if you don’t have those emojis (all common ones coming from the 15,000 coin chests), you can buy them all for 200 gems in the Diamond Box. I already have Ariel and Sebastian unlocked, so it wouldn’t be worth it for me to get it just for Flounder, especially since the emojis do not time out.
Another note about this event: the board play DO could towards your level requirements, unlike the daily missions. I find this extremely helpful, especially when I am using my time already for the daily missions. However, there it no regular item collection if you play the Villain boards, so that’s the give and take to this option.

I am not ashamed to say I am obsessed with Disney Emoji Blitz. I downloaded it the day it came out for Android and have been playing it ever since. Yesterday I started the vs. Mode against Ursula. I only use Flounder to defeat her because I get double tridents with him. (He is the only Mermaid emoji I have so far…not for lack of trying) I gave officially picked up Ursula for my keyboard. Very exciting and addictive game!
The first emoji box unlocks Ursula. I’m two boxes away from the next one.
How do you get Ursula to drop more tridents? She seems to be dropping 1-2 most of the time. Any suggestions?
Second box gets a power up for Ursula. Haven’t bothered with the third
Second mystery box you get a level up on your Ursula emoji.I’m guessing you ‘ll get full power by the end if the game I’m two boxes away form the end …
The third box only powers her up to level 2. As a gold emoji she can go all the way to 5. It was a fun event, and now I’m curious who the next villain will be.
Wait– help! How high did her levels go? I’m on 150/150 and I’m dying!
If you combine the star with the trident it adds a few more tridents. Helps you achieve your goal much faster. The last one is 200.
I bought the diamond box for 200 gems and I only got Sebastian. I thought I would get all three because 200 gems is kinda steep but it was for just one. Anyway, ive just been using him and I’m almost finished with this mode. I’m down to the last box.
I’m inquiring when will Ursula be making a comeback to Disneys Imoji Blitz? I missed her the first time and I’m DYIN to try and get her back!! Any helps it ideas please! And Thank you.
