Epic Disney Racers – Disney Rides ! Concept Art Revealed

It seems that Epic Donald was only the beginning of the planned Epic Mickey spin-off games planned by Junction Point Studios before their untimely demise in 2013. Disney shifted from console game development and publishing towards a larger focus on mobile gaming and its upcoming Disney Infinity IP.

This concept art was for a game called Epic Disney Racers which would have played similar to the 2003 hit Mario Kart : Double Dash where two characters shared a singular vehicle. The characters appeared to have featured Mickey, Minnie, Oswald, The Mad Doctor, Cruella DeVil, Scrooge McDuck , Hewey , Dewey and Louie.

It seems after awhile according to the character drawings, the Epic Mickey name was dropped in favour of Disney Rides with a font similar to the 2012 game Disney Universe. These drawings were leaked onto Assembler Games and GoNintendo.com
