About Angela
When the Angels of the Tenth Realm—Heven—waged war on Asgard, Odin’s daughter and heir to Asgard’s throne was kidnapped by the Queen of Angels. But Odin would not be extorted by the Angels, and his daughter, Aldrif, was seemingly slain. Odin retaliated by severing Heven from Yggdrasil and closed it off from the other Nine Realms. While sealed away, Aldrif was discovered to have survived and was then raised— hidden from her true heritage— as Angela, Huntress of Heven.
As all secrets eventually come to light, Angela uncovered the truth of her upbringing. Now, shunned from Heven and branded a traitor to Asgard, Angela roams across the realms to find her place within it—continuing her hunt wherever it takes her.

There has also been a large update to the game including two new events and a change to the first chapter. Here are the details:
Chapter 1 Story Mode Update
Chapter 1 of the Story Mode has been updated as we continue to work on improving the Story Mode experience.
Some of the changes for Chapter 1 include:
- Completely redesigned mission progression, including new areas to explore! Missions now follow a much more direct progression, rather than separating out side missions and minor missions from main story missions.
- Updated treasure rooms – these rooms will now spawn their reward chest near the exit portal once you complete the encounter within.
- Supervillain fights updated – some bosses will now have new powers in their arsenal!
- Supervillain encounters previously in public areas are being moved to their own instance within the zone. These are still tougher encounters, and will allow you to use the auto-party function to form a group to take them down, though you are still welcome to take the challenge on solo! For Chapter 1, this applies to the Electro encounter previously seen in Crumbling Brownstones.
For heroes that have already completed the Intrepid Reporter mission in Chapter 1, the updated missions will auto-complete and you will not need to do these missions again. For those that have not yet completed the Intrepid Reporter mission however, mission progress will be reset for Chapter 1 so players can properly experience the new mission progression within the chapter.

This past summer has been a scorcher so Dr. Pym and Mr. Fantastic put their great minds together to make Never Melting Ice Cream Bars for their fellow heroes to help keep them cool. - Legendary Quests will now appear for Chapter 1 story content.
- Item tooltip comparisons will once again display the stat change differences for the currently equipped item.
- Added a new context menu item labeled “Report as Spam” to allow players to report another player for spam and cast a chat ban vote, equivalent to /chatbanvote chat command.
Our Take:
It’s great to see the game add a lesser known playable character to the game, plus she is a strong female character and by adding these lesser known characters to game, it increases people’s awareness. Throw in a few events and some more tweaks to improve the game, making this a great opportunity to jump in for the first time or back into the game.
I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the new character, along with gameplay over the weekend and on our next Infinity & Beyond Video Game podcast.
