Castle Of Illusion Now Backwards Compatible On The Xbox One

There is some great news for Xbox One owners coming out today as the 2013 version of Disney’s Castle Of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse is now Backwards Compatible from the Xbox 360.  So if you purchased the game on the 360, it can now downloaded for free and if you haven’t already purchased it, it is now available to purchase on the Xbox Marketplace.

It has however been reported earlier today that the game will be removed from many digital platforms at the end of the week, so I’d suggest not hanging around if you do plan on buying it.

Unfortunately, this game was only ever released digitally, so there aren’t any phyiscal copies of the game around, should you want to pick it up later.

Our Take:

It’s great to see older Disney games being brought from the 360 onto the Xbox One, its just a shame it seems to be happening right when its apparently being removed at the end of the week, so I didn’t delay and I am downloading the game as I type this.
