Some Smoking Sections Relocated At Walt Disney World

Effective earlier this week Walt Disney World modified the smoking and no smoking locations for guests in at least two of the Parks. Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. The changes are rather simple and really do not seam to serve a specific purpose so far.

The following locations have Closed:

Smoking areas near to Morocco, the International Gateway and near to Mexico have been eliminated.The following locations have remained or have just opened for smoking:

A new smoking area has been added to the France pavilion, which now joins Italy, the area between Norway and China, the entrance to the Rose Garden walkway in World Showcase, and in Future World near Mission Space and The Land pavilions.

Additionally the Magic Kingdom has also implemented a few changes to their smoking locations was well. He is a basic rundown of the changes.

At the Magic Kingdom, the areas in Adventureland and Tomorrowland have been removed. This only leaves Fantasyland and Frontierland with smoking areas that are available inside the park.

Our Take:

Not being a smoker I am not effected by these changes but I can understand that if one does smoke the need to be provided a location that allows them to do so. Hopefully most guest will respect these changes.
