Hollywood Tower Hotel Sign Removed From Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror

Earlier today, the Hollywood Tower Hotel sign was removed from Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s California Adventure.  While the attraction is set to close in January, to be replaced by Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Mission: Breakout, it does look like Disney have begun some early construction on the outside, to make sure the attraction is open in 2017.

The “Late Check-Out” farewell is still being promoted by Disney, allowing guests to experience a special night version of the attraction, but it does look like the Tower Of Terror’s transformation is underway.

Our Take:

Disney aren’t taking their time in getting this attraction changed over to the Guardians of the Galaxy, had this happened in January, people might have been more prepared for the change, since there is still lots of disbelief that the popular attraction is changing.  This might be a good way of Disney just trying to rip the bandaid right off.
