Could X-Men Resurrxion Be Heading To Marvel Games?
It looks like the X-Men could be coming to many of the Marvel themed video games next year to tie in with the upcoming X-Men Resurrxion event. The Resurrxion event is coming in Spring 2017, the X-Men family of comic book titles regroups with a diverse line-up of ongoing series including CABLE, GENERATION X, ICEMAN, JEAN GREY, and WEAPON X. There will also be two new flagship comic books: X-MEN BLUE and X-MEN GOLD.
Marvel Games creative director Bill Rosemann tweeted out on Friday:

Marvel have been very good at tying in major events into their line of video games, we’ve seen events, characters and missions tied to promotions of new movies like Doctor Strange and Civil War, events like Captain America’s 75th Anniversary, TV shows like Luke Cage, Daredevil and Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D, plus comic book events like the Women Of Power.
While many X-Men characters have appeared in these mobile and PC games, due to the long running issue of FOX and Marvel not getting along due to movie, as Marvel haven’t been promoting characters from the X-Men or Fantastic Four. Hopefully with the new push of X-Men characters, we will start to see some of these popular characters like Wolverine, Iceman, Beast, Cyclops and others used in games like Marvel Heroes, Contest Of Champions, Pinball, Puzzle Quest, Future Fight, etc. While some of those games do feature X-Men characters, they aren’t promoted as much as characters like the Avengers or Defenders.
Do you think we will see X-Men Resurrexion in the Marvel video games?
