Star Wars Battlefront: Rogue One: Scarif & VR Expansion Pack Details Revealed

EA have revealed some of the details on the next expansion pack for Star Wars Battlefront, which is entitled, Rogue One: Scarif.  The set will arrive for Season Pass holders on December 6 and gives you access to new content inspired by the upcoming film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, arriving in theaters on December 16th.

In Rogue One: Scarif you’ll battle across four new maps, including the sandy beaches of Scarif – an all-new tropical planet.  There will also be two new playable heroes: Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic.  There will also be a new multi-stage game mode with space and ground combat.

Also arriving on December 6th is the Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission for PlayStation VR. This DLC is free for Star Wars Battlefront owners and gives players control of your their own X-wing in fully immersive virtual reality.

This week also saw the release of the Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition, which includes Star Wars Battlefront and Season Pass, which includes the four full expansion packs including Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: Scarif and the PlayStation VR mission when they are released on December 6th.
