Moana Arrives at Aulani with All-New Experiences

Disney’s Polynesian heroine has arrived at Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa. Aulani has provided guests with a touch of Disney magic on the island of Hawai’i and now Moana has been added to the resort’s activities. At select times, guests have the chance to meet Moana and pose for photos. Make sure you confirm her location, as Moana loves to wander and explore, especially new places! Each night, Aulani’s storyteller “Uncle” is joined by Moana as they share the legends of Oceania around an oceanside fire pit. Moana may even share some of her own wayfinding experiences! Moana and Uncle also host the Kahakai Canoe Race at the lagoon each day. While sharing tales of the ocean and teaching guests about the importance of a wa’a (or canoe) to the Native Hawaiian’s ancestors. After learning about the wa’a, guests are invited to participate in a lagoon canoe race with a wa’a model they can build themselves. For younger guests, Moana-inspired makeovers are available at Painted Sky. Complete with hair, nails, makeup, and costume, kids can feel like Moana during their stay.
