Star Wars Carrie Fisher In A Stable Condition Following Heart Attack

Carrie Fisher, known as Princess Leia in the Star Wars movies is now in a stable condition following her reportedly having a massive heart attack just minutes before her United Airlines flight from London was set to land in Los Angeles on Friday December 23rd.

CPR was performed by an EMT, who was on board the flight according TMZ and the LA Fire Department responded to the incident “At 12.11pm the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to LAX International Airport, Gate 74, for a patient on an inbound flight in Cardiac Arrest. LAFD Firefighter Paramedics were standing by for the plane’s arrival, provided Advanced Life Support and aggressively treated and transported the patient to a local hospital.”

Carrie Fisher’s brother Todd, has told the Associated Press that she was “out of emergency” and in stable condition.
