Zootopia & Black-ish Pick Up Global Globes Awards
Disney picked up the Best Animated Feature award for Zootopia at the 74th Golden Globes, Zootopia was a huge hit at the box office, bringing in over a billion dollars. The movie was directed by Byron Howard, Rich Moore and Jared Bush, it was produced by John Lasseter and Clark Spencer.
“We wanted Zootopia to be a film for kids, but also for adults, that talked about diversity,” said director Byron Howard.
Disney also picked up a second award as Tracee Ellis Ross won for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series- Musical or Comedy for her role on ABC’s Black-ish.
