FINAL THOUGHTS

I am not sure how to feel about this issue. I loved the story and how it dealt with the past of Star Butterfly’s parents, the highlight of the issue, is seeing Star’s parents in their younger days. Up until now, there’s been scant information about the early years of Moon Butterfly and River Johansen.

But at the same time, it has NOTHING to do with the story set up in the previous issue giving it that filler feel you really do not want in the second issue of a comic book. Visual humour could not save this issue. It’s an easy skip if you are into continuity but worth a read if you want more info on Star’s parents.
