Disney CEO Bob Iger To Miss President Donald Trump’s Meeting

Disney chief executive Bob Iger won’t be attending the “President’s Strategic and Policy” forum meeting that was planned for next week at the White House with President Donald Trump.  The event was billed by Donald Trump as a event featuring “CEOs and business leaders who know what it takes to create jobs and drive economic growth.”

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Bob Iger will be attending a Walt Disney Company board meeting instead, which had been booked a few months ago.

Disney, along with many other companies including Uber, Walmart, JPMorgan and General Motors, have recieved a public backlash following Donald Trump’s recent actions.
