NEW Disney Duck Tales Trailer Plus Season 2 Announced

The Internet got its first taste of the upcoming reboot of the 80s Disney hit, Duck Tales in a brand new trailer on the Disney XD YouTube channel. This is surprising since this is  ahead of its television premiere alongside Tangled Before Ever After, the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie also produced by Canadian animation studio Mercury Filmworks on March 10.

Starring a new voice cast featuring David Tennant as the smarter than the toughies Scrooge McDuck along with returning veteran voice actor Tony Anselmo as the lovable but temperamental Donald Duck.

The trailer shows us that Scrooge had retired and fallen into a slump for years before the unexpected arrival of Donald Duck and his great nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie. The pilot will follow his return to his treasure hunting ways alongside returning characters Webby and Launchpad McQuack.  Other characters expected to return are the villainous Beagle Boys, Fenton Crackshell aka Gizmoduck, Flintheart Glomgold and the wicked Magica DeSpell.

Disney DuckTales has also been renewed for a second season to be aired in 2018, this marks the third renewal for Disney XD following the return of Star vs the Forces of Evil and Milo Murphy in 2018 as well.

The 60 minute pilot for Disney Duck Tales will air this summer on Disney XD.
