Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Presents First-Ever Disney Friends Springtime Carnival
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is launching its first-ever character-themed springtime celebrations, the Disney Friends Springtime Carnival! From March 16 to May 28, more than 100 beloved Disney Friends will appear across the resort in various forms, ensuring this spring is one of the most high-spirited seasons ever!
The Disney Friends are all here, and they’re dressed to impress!
This spring, it’s the more the merrier at Hong Kong Disneyland! More than 100 Disney Friends will gather to celebrate this first-of-its-kind Disney Friends Springtime Carnival. More than 30 Disney Friends will also take part in a brand-new Disney Friends Springtime Processional every afternoon along the parade route. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale will arrive in their finest spring outfits to start the procession on a spring-themed train decorated with gorgeous flowers. They will be joined by Judy and Nick from the award-winning animation “Zootopia,” Alice and the White Rabbit from “Alice in the Wonderland,” Marie from “Aristocats,” the Seven Dwarfs, and Tigger and Piglet. There will also be close to 50 dancers in the new parade, bringing even more excitement to guests this spring period.
Mickey and friends are also showing up in Hong Kong-themed outfits, while the Disney Friends of the Month will be greeting guests for special photo moments on Main Street, U.S.A. Come to The Annex to meet some familiar Disney Friends as well as characters who are making their debut appearances in Hong Kong Disneyland. The stars of March and April will be Belle and Beast from “Beauty and the Beast,” Pinocchio and Geppetto from “Pinocchio” and Russel, Carl and Dug from “Up.” Don’t miss this chance to meet them all!
The popular Disney Character Egg Hunt returns this year in a larger scale after its successful debut last year. Close to 100 eggs that portray Disney characters are scattered across the park for happy hunting. Look for new comers such as Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man, Ant-Man, Spider-Man, Rocket Raccoon and Groot, along with Judy and Nick from “Zootopia” and Hei hei and Pua from “Moana.” Guests are bound to discover Disney character eggs wherever they go in the park!
The specially created Disney Friends Springtime Garden provides picturesque settings for guests to take in the spectacular colors of spring and snap photos of Mickey, Minnie and Donald in all of the garden’s whimsical corners.
Springtime snacks and sweets of beloved characters
Celebrate the Disney Friends Springtime Carnival with a range of 55 character-inspired snacks, desserts and specialty drinks in the park and resort hotels. Indulge in the Spring Dinner Set at Royal Banquet Hall, the Duffy & Friends Springtime Afternoon Tea at Main Street Corner Cafe hosted by Coca-Cola®, or mouth-watering range of spring desserts at Market House Bakery. Head over to Walt’s Cafe at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel for the Disney Royal Afternoon Tea–presented by PANDORA, or sample award-winning dishes on the Springtime Dinner Menu (Feature Crystal Lotus Award Dishes) of Crystal Lotus. For a special parent-child bonding opportunity, join the “Chef Mickey Family Sunday” dinner buffet and cupcake activity at Disney’s Hollywood Hotel for a complimentary, hands-on DIY cupcake-making session.
Goodies galore at the Disney Friends Springtime Carnival
Discover this spring’s alluring range of memorabilia, with 130 items based on the Disney Friends created just for the new carnival! There are assortments themed after Disney character eggs and Duffy, ShellieMay and Gelatoni that are sure to make this spring extra delightful.
A collection of “Beauty and the Beast” items will fill store shelves as the much-anticipated movie is coming to local theaters. Other than toys and ornaments, the collection will include a range of princess dresses for young guests to transform into dazzling Belle. “Beauty and the Beast” PANDORA charms will also be available exclusively in the park! Also, don’t miss this chance to meet with Belle and the Beast as they greet guests.
Springtime Egg-stravaganza hotel room decorations*
From March 16 to May 28, guests staying in Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Hollywood Hotel can have their rooms decorated with features of Disney character eggs for an additional HK$600. Their stay will be so much more memorable in a room enhanced with a door sticker, bed runner, slippers, mirror stickers and a Macaroon set.

From now to July 14, 2017 Magic Access Members can make use of the Magic Access Member “Bring A Friend” Offer and bring friends to the Disney Friends Springtime Carnival for a special admission price of HK$389 per person (a discount of up to HK$200). From March 16, 2017, Magic Access Members can also come to the park to redeem a Collectible Disney Egg Pin every week for six consecutive weeks. The Collectible Disney Egg Pins are limited in quantity, while stock last.
