Marvel Themed Attractions & Entertainment Coming To Disneyland Paris
This week Disneyland Paris released its Shareholders Meeting document, which explains that they will be making €2.1 billion of investment over the next 10 years, for new and upgraded facilities at the park. Part of the expansion will see more Marvel attractions and entertainment added to the Walt Disney Studios Park.
This week has seen the closure of the CinéMagique show, which is rumoured to be replaced with a Marvel superheroes-themed indoor stunt show. Plus suggestions over the years that that area of the Studios, which include the Backlot and Armageddon would be removed, plus Aerosmith’s Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster could get a Spider-Man rebranding or even that the Tower of Terror could get a Guardians of the Galaxy overlay, similar to that currently being installed in Disney’s California Adventure.
Hong Kong Disneyland has recently seen a new Iron Man Experience open and more attractions are set to come to the parks around the world. Spider-Man has already made an appearance at Disneyland Paris as a meet and greet character.
That money will also go help towards other attractions and improvements at the park including renovations of the Disneyland Hotel and Hotel New York, but Marvel does make the most sense to push, especially with the success of Marvel at the box office.
