Marvel Heroes 2016 4 Year Anniversary June Event Schedule Revealed

The team behind Marvel Heroes 2016 have announced details for their 4th anniversary of the PC game, which will see events and sales taking place throughout June.  The event will run from June 2nd until June 28th.

Here are all the details:

BOHZE MOI!

A canine visitor from Knowhere has traveled to Earth, but was quickly kidnapped! Help him escape captivity by looking for a remote notification upon logging in – complete the new mission and you will be rewarded with a brand new companion!

S.H.I.E.L.D. AIR SUPPORT TEAM-UP

Joining the Team-Up Roster for Marvel Heroes 2016 is… the Helicarrier itself!

The S.H.I.E.L.D. Air Support Team-Up is a unique style of Team-Up that cannot be summoned directly like most Team-Ups. Instead, the Hellicarrier will be called in to support you in combat with various air strikes and strafing runs – activating the summon ability will call in a huge missile strike in your area.

This new Team-Up can be purchased from the Anniversary Event Vendor in Avenger’s Tower for 100 Cake Slices. Be sure to grab yours during the Anniversary event this month!

DANGER ROOM TOURNAMENT
In addition to the Anniversary Tournament, a new Unique Danger Room Tournament Scenario will be available for players to test their mettle and compete for the fastest completion times!

The Trainyard Unique Scenario will be available on the Event Vendor within the Danger Room hub, in both Epic and Cosmic difficulties. Leaderboards will be available for both versions of this new Danger Room Tournament scenario. In it, you’ll be tasked with stopping the Purifiers from deploying their latest creation – a terrifying new model of Sentinel that must be stopped before the Purifiers can unleash it on mutantkind! Note that you can acquire a brand new Medallion and Two new Artifacts from the boss of this scenario, so be sure to check it out!

The Trainyard Danger Room Tournament will run for the duration of the Anniversary event, and each leaderboard will reset once each week. Each reset, rewards are granted for the following rankings on the leaderboard:

Cable is not one to be outdone by the Sentinels, and has come prepared with some new items to help in the fight!

As such, for the duration of the Anniversary event the Simulation #77 Unique Danger Room Scenario will also be available on the Event Vendor within the Danger Room hub, where you can test yourself against a simulation of Cable in one-on-one combat. If you want these powerful new items, you’ll have to prove to Cable you can earn them!

Legendary Quests

  Normal Enemies
• Normal enemies throughout the game have a small chance of dropping an A.R.M.O.R. Drive. There is no “insurance policy” timer on these drops, so nothing is guaranteed, but this will have a noticeable effect for anyone defeating normal enemies in any zone.

Bonus Drives

• Red Bosses have a small chance of dropping a bonus A.R.M.O.R. Drive
• Cosmic Bosses have a higher chance of dropping a bonus A.R.M.O.R. Drive (and Doctor Doom simply drops 2 more always)

Odin’s Bounty EVERYWHERE and Operation Omega! June 15th-21st

Starting Thursday, 6/15/2017 @ 12:01PM PST, Odin’s Bounty returns and features an amazing bonus loot game mode rotation. Bosses will drop Chests of Odin’s Bounty. These chests are loot boxes that you can collect and then open later for an epic lootsplosion! Chests of Odin’s Bounty have a high chance to contain Runes and Odin Marks, as well as a chance to drop the Mysterious Crimson Box, which contains rare boss-specific artifacts.

During the applicable rotation phase, bosses will drop Odin’s Bounty Chests depending on difficulty & location:

• Normal Patrol/Danger Room – 1 Chest
• Heroic Bosses/Danger Room – 1 Chests
• Cosmic Bosses Patrols/Danger Room – 2 Chests

Additionally, everyone has a rare chance to receive Odin’s Blessing, which gives your chests special jackpot loot!

Odin’s Bounty is available in all VALID Locations!

Operation Omega!

EVENT DETAILS
S.H.I.E.L.D. has been infiltrated by HYDRA! Agent Coulson, Nick Fury and Dum Dum Dugan have put OPERATION OMEGA in to effect, calling all heroes to help stop HYDRA!

Players will be able to choose a side as either an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. or HYDRA to gather intelligence, battle enemies of each faction and earn exclusive rewards and achievements! Will you support Operation OMEGA and ensure a future for S.H.I.E.L.D. or will you assist HYDRA and attempt to thwart it?

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Talk to HYDRA Representative Baron Von Lind or S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Rose Solomon in Avengers Tower in order to select which side you want to fight for. Once you have selected a side, you are free to change your selection by talking to either representative at any time during the event.

After selecting your side, Intelligence Reports will drop off of bosses in the different Patrol Modes. Follow the instructions in the Intelligence Report to find a traitor to your faction and obtain faction specific rewards!

AGENT BONUSES
During the course of the event, Agents on both sides gain the following:

• 10 Omega Access Files for logging in each day

OTHER OMEGA-LEVEL FEATURES
Agent Coulson continues to offer a daily training mission during Operation Omega. Each day, you can complete five or more waves in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Holo-Sim to receive a reward from him. This will help hone your skills to be prepared for taking on the villainous HYDRA!

S.H.I.E.L.D OMEGA ACCESS FILES
Omega Access files can drop from Intelligence Report boss defeats, but can also be obtained in the following method:

• 10 Omega Access Files just for logging in each day.
• 30 Omega Access Files for completing Coulson’s training mission each day.
• 60 Omega Access Files for completing the Shared Quests each day. (20 ea.)

There are plenty of reasons to jump back into the PC game this month, with so much of the recent attention beind focused on the PS4 launch, this is a great way of keeping PC players engaged in the game, bringing back some recent events for the month is another nice touch but it would have been nice to see something original for the event, but there are plenty of freebie items available.
