LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 E3 Livestream Day 1 Recap
During the first day of the E3 Warner Brothers Games Livestream, there was plenty of news revealed about the upcoming LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 game, including that Lockjaw, from the Inhumans will be a playable character in the game. The live stream included Arthur Parsons from TT Games explaining the news.
Here are some other notes from Day 1:
- Kang is revealed as the main villain of the game, but there will many favourite villains and locations
- 34/35 playable heroes within the main non-linar branching story before facing Kang.
- Story is based on comic book stories, Avengers Forever from 1998 and the Kang war which was featured in the Avengers comics 41 through 55 from 1991.
- Time travel will be a major part of the game, featuring different versions of characters, even at the same time such as Spider-Man 2099 and Spider-Man Noir interacting.
- The main hub is called Chronopolis and is the biggest they’ve ever done which includes parts of Wakana, Mountains of K’un Lun, Nowhere, Lumeria, Ancient Egypt and a Snowy New York plus much more.
- Lockjaw from the Inhumans is revealed as a playable character.
- Other characters shown include Noir Spider-Man, Star-Lord and Groot,
- Kurt Busiek was brought in as a writer for the game.
More information on the game is expected to be revealed over the coming days from WB Games livestreams.
