LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 E3 Live Stream Day 2 Recap

E3 continues to deliver plenty of news from Warner Brothers on its upcoming LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 game, here are some of the notes from the second day of livestreams.

  • The livestream features Phil Ring, Arthur Parsons & Marvel Games Bill Roseman.
  • Bill gives some details on Kang The Conquerer, how he builds armies and travels through time to battle super heroes in their prime.  Plus this villain hasn’t been covered in much detail before and allows freedom for the game to visit other times.
  • A Multiplayer mode has been introduced and is focused around the Grandmaster, who is the brother of the collector.  There will be themed challenges within the arena.  Similar to those added to LEGO Dimensions.
  • Youtuber Blitzwinger is brought on to share some gameplay of the multiplayer mode.
  • Starlord, Rocket Raccoon, Gamora and Drax are shown in action in the battle mode.
  • Each character have different abilities such as Gamora can deflect bullets.
  • In the multiplayer mode, the whole arena is made of LEGO bits, which means its all breakable.
  • There are also Infinity Stone pickups to add different powers.
  • Some footage of the open hub are shown including Mysterio, Spider-Man 2099, Black Widow, Starlord, Agent Venom, Spider-Gwen and others.
  • Characters look change depending on their location.
