More Marvel Heroes Omega Xbox One Details Revealed

Just ahead of the release of Marvel Heroes Omega on the Xbox One, Gazillion have released a FAQ on the release, including details on the Iron Fist & Black Suit Spider-Man costumes plus news on Daredevil being given away free to Xbox Live subscribers.

Here are all the details:

What kind of exclusives do Xbox One players get?

  • Players who purchase the Avengers Founder’s Pack, X-Men Founder’s Pack, Guardians of the Galaxy Founder’s Pack, Deadpool Founder’s Pack, and an unannounced Founder’s Pack will also receive Iron Fist and the Spider-Man Symbiote Costume as a timed exclusive! These timed exclusives will remain until August 31st, 2017.

Do Xbox Live Gold Members get a free hero unlock?

  • Players with an Xbox Live Gold Membership, can look forward to a free Hero unlock for Daredevil from the Xbox Marketplace!
    How long will the timed exclusives Hero and costume be in the Xbox Store?
    The timed exclusive content of Iron Fist and the Spider-Man Symbiote Costume will be available in the Xbox Marketplace until August 31st, 2017.

Do we need Xbox Live Gold to play Marvel Heroes Omega?

  • Xbox Live Gold is required to play Marvel Heroes Omega. All multiplayer games on Xbox Live require Gold status to play online.

Will Xbox One players get Couch Co-Op?

  • Yes they will! The first player will require an Xbox Live Gold membership to play and the second player will need a valid Xbox Account (no Xbox Live Gold required) to play along.

Are any progression wipes planned for Xbox One?

  • There will be no progression wipes planned for Xbox One.

Will PC and console players be able to play together?

  • Due to the differences between the PC version and console versions, the ability to play across platforms is not available.

Will my progress/characters/anything transfer over to Xbox One?

  • There are no plans for any account transfers from PC to console.

Will there be a beta or early access period for Xbox One?

  • There is no beta/early access period planned for the Xbox One. On June 30th, 2017, we plan to go into a full launch with Marvel Heroes Omega!

What modes will be available?

  • Chapters 1-9: Featuring an original story written by comic book scribe Brian Michael Bendis, players are charged with thwarting Dr. Doom’s nefarious plan to reshape the world in his own image with the power of the Cosmic Cube. Venture on your own or with friends.
  • Operations: Navigate an instance and defeat the Super Villain who lurks within. Starting at level 11, players may enter Operations solo or with a group. Bounty missions will appear in your mission tracker, detailing objectives to clear during each Operation. If successful, a Bounty Chest will appear after defeating the Super Villain!
  • Midtown Patrol: Patrol Midtown and make it safer by clearing the streets of evildoers and Super Villains. Over time, groups of villains will make their plans known and it is up to you to stop them. Midtown is a large, open environment where never-ending ambushes of enemies and multiple Super Villains lay waste to the city. Defeat ambushes and Super Villain teams for special rewards. Super Villain teams will spawn every few minutes, while some Super Villains will appear throughout the city and return shortly after being defeated. Midtown Patrol is available at level 1.
  • Danger Room: The Danger Room is an area in Xavier’s School that unlocks once you finish some Legendary Missions! Inside the Danger Room, you and up to four other heroes will face off against different challenges leading to a boss based on the quality of the Scenario Chip you used. Scenario Chips can be acquired from either crafting them using the required materials, or found from many enemies within the game. Some special Scenario Chips can even be bought from the Danger Room vendor during certain events. Just like your gear, Scenario Chips also come in several qualities which increase their difficulty and rewards. The Scenario Chips range from Common to Cosmic.
  • Legendary Missions: After completing the story mode on the player’s first character, players may access Legendary Missions across all characters. The first Legendary Missions will guide players through Patrols, Operations, Story, and Danger Rooms. Collect Legendary Marks as rewards and exchange them for a powerful Legendary Item.
  • Heroic, Superheroic and Cosmic trials: To get the best loot, you have to play on the harder difficulties. These trials make sure that you are truly ready to tackle those challenges.

Which regions will the Xbox One version of Marvel Heroes Omega be available in?
