Pinball FX3 Coming This Summer
Today Zen Studios revealed that Pinball FX3 will be releasing on PlayStation 4 this summer and that it will now be the Zen-supported pinball platform on PSN – replacing Zen Pinball 2 which is currently available on PS4. Pinball FX3 will also be coming to Xbox One, Win10 and Steam!
Zen Studios have said that they are 100% committed to keeping the community intact and providing players with one of the best values in gaming, so they have announced that players will be able to import the majority of the previously released Zen Pinball 2 purchases to Pinball FX3 for free! They should also get access to all of the new features and upgrades at no cost.
With so many Marvel & Star Wars themed tables that have already been released such as Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Rebels & Rogue One plus Marvel themed tables for Age of Ultron, Ant-Man and the majority of the characters like Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Hulk and more. However Zen Studios haven’t yet confirmed if all of these tables will be carried over. However none of those franchises are shown in the announcement trailer, but neither are any of the other major franchises like Family Guy, Alien, Walking Dead etc, which have had tables created by Zen Studios.

Pinball FX3 is a massive game packed full of new features designed to turn pinball into a true community experience on PS4. We have thought about you along the development process and have designed deep single-player modes that will help you become a better pinball player!
More details on what previously released tables that will be compatible with Pinball FX3 will be released soon, ahead of the launch of the newer version and they’ve also announced they will be teaming up with a new partner, which I personally hope is Disney, but it could easily be another company with franchises such as Warner Brothers or Universal.
It’s great to see a new version of Pinball FX coming soon and I hope it can focus on pushing a single brand, since it did get a little confusing with Zen Pinball, FX2, Marvel Pinball and Star Wars Pinball. I’m also hoping a Nintendo Switch version of the game is in development too. Hopefully we have confirmation of what old tables will work soon and hopefully some new content such as Spider-Man: Homecoming or Star Wars: The Last Jedi as well.
