“Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” Official Name for Star Wars Lands
Leaked last night and official just a few hours ago, the upcoming Star Wars Lands for both domestic parks will be called “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.”
Guests can visit a remote trading post at the edge of wild space where they will be in the middle of the action and get to see their favorite characters in real life. The attraction will feature two signature attractions that will put guests in the middle of a climatic battle between the First Order and The Resistance. Even the Land itself will be immersive like no land before it. Characters such as Chewbacca, BB-8, Kylo Ren and even the beloved android Rex are justa few of the characters that will be in this land. Apparently Rex will be a DJ at the Cantina. Rex was a droid in the previous version of Star Tours.
One attraction will place guests in the middle of a Star Destroyer Hangar Bay on a scale like never before.
The second attraction will allow guests to work as a team on a special, critical mission while piloting the one and only Millennium Falcon!
How you perform in your duties is very important. If you perform your job well, you could earn galactic credits! Bring the ship back damaged and you may end up on a certain bounty hunter’s list. or even worse, you could end up on Harko’s list and face issues at the local Cantina. The land will prove to be even more immersive than Pandora!
At the Cantina, guests can try Blue Milk and get unique trinkets from across the galaxy. Galaxy’s Edge will open in 2019 with the Disneyland counterpart opening first. Check out footage below:
