Shanghai Disney Resort Presents Magical Dining Experience to Kick-Off 19th FHC International Culinary Arts Competition

To celebrate the kick-off of 19th Food and Hotel China International Culinary Arts Competition (19th FHC China), Shanghai Disney Resort held a special private dinner experience at the Royal Banquet Hall for a group of nearly 160 globally renowned chefs who are global cuisine leaders. Like other specialty exclusive events at the resort, the elegant and spectacular venue was reserved for a magical dining experience to celebrate the arrival of these industry leaders, with the charming ambiance and gourmet multi-course meal bringing a taste of Disney magic to the visitors ahead of the big show.

Food and Hotel China International Culinary Arts Competition is committed to supporting the development of the food and beverage industry in the China. This year it will run from November 14 to 16 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre with more than 2200 international participants. Shanghai Disney Resort was delighted to welcome these 160 leading visiting chefs and share with them some of its very own gourmet creations by hosting one of the resort’s celebrated private events.

Shanghai Disney Resort demonstrated excellent performance in last year’s Food and Hotel China International Culinary Arts Competition (18th FHC China). During a three-day world class cook-off endorsed by the World Association of Chef Societies, the resort’s culinary team delivered exemplary dishes in all four classes of the competition, resulting in a total of 30 prestigious awards. This year, a delegation of highly talented chefs representing the restaurants at Shanghai Disneyland and two resort hotels will continue to participate in the renowned cooking competition to showcase the passion and skills behind this professional culinary team in delivering authentic and magical dining experiences.
