Fox Working On New X-Men Spinoff Starring James Franco As Multiple Man

Another X-Men spinoff movie is apparently being developed by Fox, with James Franco set to play Multiple Man.

Multiple Man is a mutant with the ability to create instant duplicates of himself and after a suit developed by Professor X went wrong, it made him go crazy.  He was first introduced in the 1970’s a in Giant-Size Fantastic Four #4.   In the 1990s, he played a major role in the series X-Factor.

The character has previously appeared in the 2006 film X-Men: The Last Stand, in which he was portrayed by Eric Dane.

The movie has Allan Heinberg writing the script and continues to see Fox trying to use as many X-Men characters as possible in different projects.
