The Mighty Thor #703 Review
The Death Of The Mighty Thor part 4 sees Jane Foster’s health deteriorating as Doctor Strange is brought into work out what’s going on.
Meanwhile the Mangog has come to Asgardia to cause massive destruction and this brings Thor into a major dilemma, become the Mighty Thor one more time to stop the Mangog or try to stop the Cancer.
This issue really puts across an incredible story, of how Jane Foster is willing to sacrifice herself to help others and also how Odinson wants to protect her, even blocking the Hammer, from Jane, showing some major growth for the character.
It’s so refreshing to see heroes shown being so full vulnerable and so strong at the same time, plus seeing other heroes being so worried helps sell the story to the reader.
How the artists portray a weak and sick Jane Foster is also extremely well done, she looks worse each issue and it’s a major part of why this story is working so well. Plus there is a great cameo at the end.
OVERALL: The Mighty Thor is easily one of the best monthly series right now, it’s telling an incredible story and has some fantastic artwork.
