Spider-Man: Homecoming Hot Wheels Teegray Review

Recently on a visit to my local toy store, I picked up the Marvel Spider-Man: Homecoming Teegray Hot Wheels car and wanted to share my thoughts on it.

Here is a look at its packaging:

This Spider-Man: Homecoming Hot Wheels car is an odd one, as a Hot Wheels car, its pretty solid, it looks futuristic with its cockpit and raised ridges on the sides.  It looks like a super powered sports car that certainly fits the Fantasy line from Hot Wheels.

As a Marvel or Spider-Man themed car, its a little different, with this being a variant of the Teegray model, it just doesn’t feel very “Homecoming” to me, it has absolutely nothing to do with the movie, so that’s a big thumbs down.  However just theming it to Spider-Man with the logo is pretty neat, but I’d have loved to have seen a little more blue on the car.

OVERALL:

This car is a great little Fantasy Hot Wheels, perfect for kids to smash around or run through the tracks.  Plus I’m sure younger Spider-Man fans would love it to play with but I feel the theming in with Homecoming isn’t working.
