Oleg As Star Wars BB-8 Soft Toy Review

One of the most recent promotions run by the UK comparison website, “Compare The Market”, was a free Oleg plush, with him dressed up as BB-8 from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. All you needed to do to get this plush was take out an insurance with the company, which included Travel, Home, Car or some other product.

Since I had to renew my home contents insurance, I use “Compare The Market” to get the best price I can, while also getting “buy one get one free” cinema tickets for a year, unaware I could also claim my free soft toy.

OVERALL:

As a “free” bonus for taking out insurance, this is a nice little touch and this toy does come with a little certificate and its a nice BB-8 outfit to go over the plush.  It’s a nice promotional product, but I don’t think it would be worth spending money on, especially some of the crazy prices I’ve seen it listed on eBay for.  But its well made, is pretty cute and fans of the commercial will probably love it, but I can’t help but feel charity shops will be full of these in the months ahead.
