Marvel Universe Figurine Collection #2 Iron Man Review
The second issue of the Marvel Universe Figurine Collection is out now in the UK and is available at a discounted price of £5.99. This issue is focused on Iron Man and comes with a hand-painted figure.

Here is a look at the magazine:
The magazine continues lots of information on Iron Man from across the different eras, giving plenty of backstory and history on the character. However it does feel a little bit generic and the majority of this could be discovered from a Wikipedia or on Marvel’s own website. So the magazine feels more like a bonus thrown in with the figure. It’s a very well made magazine but its not something that I would consider to be a must read.
Here is a look at this Iron Man statue:
Being honest, at £5.99, I think this magazine is incredible value and worth picking up, however I can’t justify the cost once it goes up on the third issue. £11.99 feels too steep a price, especially with 2 issues a month. But comparing it to the price of action figure, LEGO set or Pop Vinyl at the £10 price range, it does make this look more more valuable. It’s just a shame these can’t be sold in a different format to the fortnightly magazine system, which slightly devalues it, especially when since I’ve been burned with magazine collections in the past.

OVERALL:
The Iron Man figurine is very well done, its very solid and has lots of detail to make it worthwhile picking up. I’d like to have had the colors a little more brighter, but I can’t complain at the quality of this figure.
