Marvel Guardians Of The Galaxy – Star-Lord Action Figure Review

The recent animated series of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy has seen Hasbro release a line of 6 inch action figures of the main characters from the group. This Star-Lord figure comes with two gun accessories, which can be fitted to his hips.

I think its a great move to have Star-Lord in his mask since trying to do human faces on budget toys doesn’t usually work well, its just a shame his head has so little movement due to his stiff collar.

The look of this Star-Lord figure is very good and is one of the better ones in this range, while his jacket, pants and top are very basic, it suits the characters design and is instantly recognizable.

While this figure doesn’t have too many moving parts since the legs have no articulation at all bar at the hips, its good that the arms have a extra joint for the elbow, which allows a little more movement for play.

As with any budget 6 inch figure, this is primary for playing with rather than for display, where paying out more for a Marvel Legends figure would be a better option, but for a young fan of the animated series, this is great.

A solid budget Star-Lord action figure that features two great accessories, a great head sculpt and a good costume, instantly make this a easy recommendation for younger fans of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
