New Date Set For Fox & Disney Buyout Shareholder Meetings

Following Disney getting the go ahead from the Justice Department for its purchase of 21st Century Fox and the bidding war with Comcast,
Disney and 21st Century Fox have now set a date for their shareholder meetings, which will take place on July 27th.

There will be separate meetings for Disney and Fox and will take place at 10am at the New York Hilton.

However should Comcast place another bid, this could result in another delay of this meeting, though Disney does have the right to match or up their offer to match Comcast.

Disney and Fox have been making plans for the buyout since December, which would bring franchises like Aliens, Avatar and the Simpsons under the Disney umbrella, so these meetings will have a major impact on Disney.
